Connie M LeFevre, ASID, RID, founded Design House, Inc. in 1975, after attending LSU and then recieving her BFA from Uof H. Connie has successfully combined her design firm with an expanded showroom offering art, accessories, antiques, lighting, textiles, custom pieces and unique one-of-a-kind selections from around the world. The showroom, located in the Houston Design Center continues to provide high quality unusual pieces that both inspire and amuse. Connies goal is to combine her special products with excellent service for the clients that are not just shopping for furniture and accessories to fill a space; they want the unique products, imagination, creativity and service. The award-winning interior design firm is a full service professional studio with experience in new construction, remodeling, custom design, consulting, space planning and installation. Connie and her design team are always searching markets and products from around the world; editing, curating and sourcing for the clients of Design House. Connie is a proffesional member of ASID and a licensed, registered interior designer in the state of Texas, she was past President of the Gulf Coast Chapter of ASID and past Vice President and a board member of TAID. "DESIGN TIMES", a national magazine featuring the interior design industry, named Connie to the list of "10 Designers to Watch" and she was just awarded several 2009 ASID "Legacy of Design" Awards.
